What would I do without my friends?
My god, I would be so lost.
I am so thankful.
And so happy.
And I'm lucky that I have these friends. Others don't.

Yesterday they gave me so much.
Places I've shunned, by which distressing memories, anger and pain were connected, they have given a new luster.
They made me laugh the first time since three days.
Since the verdict was published. Since I knew about these ridiculous three years.
They are there when I need them. Always.

There's nothing left to say
..except:

Thank you. I love you.

I'm sorry. My internet didn't work for a long time. For almost half a year O.O
And yes that was a hard time. Not because I couldn't live without it, but if (nearly) all of your conversation is on the internet, some things get difficult. Especially school ...

But what happened? Actually ... nothing special. But I was tagged during that time by :iconnybling: and so now I have to answer questions^^

______________________________________

1. If you have the choice between writing and drawing, what do you do? [It's not about doodles or notes but more... artsy.]
Definitely writing. During hard times it's my way to understand myself, my feelings and to get over it. Some people say I'm good at it. Whatever ... it's just a way of expressing ; )
Drawing ... oh ... sometimes I like it, but when I try to do something it always gets unsightly. I prefer doing photomanipulations.

2. Do you buy your school's yearbook?
Yes I do. I often think about what I will think about something in a few years.
If 20 years are gone, I won't remember the most things of my school time and then I will love to see through the yearbooks and recollect "the good old times"

3. Do you sometimes get annoyed by a subject that you usually really like?
YES -.-
In my opinion a teacher is someone who is able to ruin your attitude towards almost every thing.
Actually I love English lessons. Why not? I also love speaking english.
But now ... for the next two years I think this will change. Because now, before each lesson I'm a kind of
unenthusiastic, as our teacher is unable to conduct the content interesting...
think of it what you want, but I think the teacher has to be motivated. If not ... forget it.

4. Do you like yourself in photos?
No

5. Are your best friend and you very different?
Yes *_____*
actually I've got two best friends. But both are very different from me. But that's why I love them so much <3

6. Have you ever met someone you met on the Internet? How did it turn out?
No - for several reasons.
But maybe it will happen sometime. Who knows?

7. Do you have many notes and how do you manage them?
No (laughing)
I'm such a disorganized person.
Sometimes I try to.
But then I despair because I can not find them anymore. So if there is something importat that I have to write down, I write it in my little calendar.

8. Is there anything you are really afraid of? How do you cope with that?
A lot of things ...
Dogs
Spiders
Drunken men in the streets
...and since last summer ... thanks to my "best" friend ... there are also moments when I'm afraid of fire. (Which is a problem ... - I'm a proud member of the fire brigade :/)

... and more.

Dogs and spiders ... well, dogs go over and spiders - thank you Daniel Hess for inventing the vacuum cleaner.
The drunken men? There's nothing you can do against it. Most of the time I walk over and hope they don't speak to me. And the fire: as I said it's only moments. ... if a
torch crackles behind my right shoulder ... or a neighbour burns something and then the smell is into my room again ...
Honestly, I don't know how to handle with that.

9. Do you prefer phoning or texting?
Texting. Don't know why.

10. Do you have to make your own lunch or is it made for you?
I have to do it myself^^

So now it's my turn to tag someone.

:iconlittlealicorn: - because it was a nice time we spend together on hafifieber
:icon4scarface4: - because he is such a good singer (and knows things I never heard about)*__*
:icondrakenstyler: - because he is a great drawer and has creative ideas for our projects
:iconrenval: - because I !love! his poetry
:iconcarllton: - because her art is breathtaking
:iconnaanncy: - because she's such a nice girl, writing is always fun : D
:iconlady-tori: - because I'm a fan of her Danbo-pictures ^.^
:iconraenri: - because I love the idea of taking photos of fruits - but not as fruits. Visit the account if you want to know what I mean : P
:iconabyssus-angelus: - because she does this ... great, speech- and breathtaking ... photmanip - with horses :happybounce:

And I choose the last one randomly by using the search-function

...and the winner is ...

:iconm0thart: M0THart- searched for "mirrors" and was fascinated by her picture "moving mirrors"

________________________________________

So now you have to follow these rules:
The rules:
1. You must post these rules.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you, and create new questions for people you tag to answer.
3. You have to choose 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
4. Go to their pages and tell them you have tagged her/him. (Make sure they get it)
5. No tag backs (if you want to - do so xD)

And here are my questions:

1. What's the title of your favourite book?(yes, a book, no films or something. It has to be a book. Everybody here has already read a book)

2. If you could meet any person you want to - dead or alive - who would that be? (Please, real persons)

3. Do you believe in theories about the end of the world? Why /why not?

4. Do you speak while sleeping?

5. Did you already dream something that got real?

6. How is/was your behavior at school?

7. Android or iPhone?

8. What makes you laugh?

9. Is there anybody you despise extremly? (No names^^, just yes and no and maybe why if you want)

10. Where did you meet the most important person in your life?

So .. now I hope you have fun answering these questions. w00t!

Yeah, I'm still alive, the airplane didn't crash ;D

So what should I say? The island is word- and breathtaking. Especially if you - as me - have hardly ever seen the sea. I think the sea was the most beautiful I've seen through these days^^ But actually almost everything we saw was a beauty (Yes, I will upload pictures - as soon as I sorted them out). There are these high mountains and when you're up there, looking around, down the steep slopes into the valley where you see houses as small as a thumb tip, above you the endless sky mixing with the sea and around you everywhere plants you've never seen ... you must feel happy. And you discover that humans are nothing more than small, small creatures on this great earth. Around the whole island you will find places you can never dream of.

My funniest experience?
Well, on our last day, we wanted to hike on one of these great Levadas, but we didn't find the one we'd like to take. And as luck would have it, our teacher followed the signs to old ruins. And behind the ruins we found a path. By the way, close to the path's end there was a very unstable-looking bridge, which we had to cross one by one, because otherwise it probably would be broken. Ok, after all had cross we came to a natural pool out of basalt filled with seawater. There was a constant water inflow and outlet by some of the high waves, which reached over the basalt. So Maria and I went down, to touch the water and as we wanted to return, for whatever reason, she needed an eternity to climb up. I was standing there, looking at the sea and I saw the wave coming. And I thought "Hurry Maria!" But she didn't and so the wave crashed against the basalt and overflushed me. Really, I was wet up from my head down to the feet.
Ok, in fact it was very dangerous because the wave could have swept me out to sea or I could have crashed against the basalt. After both I wouldn't sit here and write journal entries. But - I'm here, safely sitting at home and so I think it was very amusing.

But as everything even Madeira has its dark sides. You will see them if you walk through Funchal and almost in every street you'll find some beggars. And I'm a person who can't walk over and don't feel something for this people. Especially when they are old or have missing arms/legs. What should they do, without having high qualifications, on an island where you find jobs only in agriculture and services? This always made me almost cry. Because I'm someone who lives in Germany, a country with a well-doing economy and help for unemployed or disabled people and yes it could always be better. But it can also always be worse. And I'm not suffering. No - I have a place to live, food, clothes and running, warm water. I don't have to complain because compared to these people I have everything I need.

So now you have an overview about my days on madeira. I would like to tell about every single day, but that would take to long. If you have questions about the hotel or some places or something general I'd be happy if you just ask me : D

M A D E I R A

Well, from now it's only 9 days 'til I'm on my way to an island which is close to west-africa. I still can't believe it^^
It still seems a bit unreal also if I feel so happy :D We had a lot of work the last days. Search the information, prepare the presentation, write brochures and take pictures (the weather could have been better) and, incidentally, we still had to go to school the whole day and get good grades. But now we just have to improve it and get it to the final result. Think we can be content.

But ... whoooooho ... a bit more than a week ... and I'll fly to Madeira, the "flower island". Where you can see the coast of Africa if you're high enough. So wow, even the EU can be usefull sometimes (the reason why I fly is a project started and promoted by the EU). Thanks to our politicians(^^) but mostly to my parents who made that possible at all.

Ok, what will I do there?
I mean, you understand that the EU doesn't pay for nothing, don't you? We have to work. The project is called Comenius and aims a partnership between different schools and pupils in Europe.
Slovenia, Estonia, Portugal<span class="">, Poland and Germany take part. Every country will be visited. So the first meet is in Madeira and there we'll have to show the environment of our school, where we're living and so on. Yeah as I said that was a lot of work. Moreover the host prepared a programm for the foreign students, so we'll visit different parts of the island (which is only 22 kilometres long and 15 kilometres wide) and there are different activities with the other students and of course our and the other's  presentation :P
We'll spend 8 days on the island and I think these 8 days will be some of the days I'll never forget.

Madeira ♥

Burning

1 min read
You hear what your parents tell you
But don't realize
"Wake up!! Fire!!"
You hear them
but don't realize
"Get up! There's fire outside!"
Just hear them and don't realize what the hell they are saying
Fire? What fire? WHY SHOULD THERE BE FIRE?
"Get out of your bed" she cries.
And in fact, now it's getting clear how much she is worried
So you get out of your bed, not knowing what's happening
And then you're beneath the window

And now you can HEAR it
It's crackling
This sound is just so near
It seems like it's directly next to you

And now you can FEEL it
Its heat
Its intensity

And now ...
Finally you realize
you realize
the heat
the sound
the ray of light
the flames
the fire.
